Membership includes complimentary rack card space in our visitors’ center, business card space, rack space in the Hancock County Airport for a yearly fee, display cases in our visitors center for a yearly fee, spotlight member Facebook posts, E-news spotlight posts, in office referrals, complimentary website information (generic), Banner ads and enhanced ads on our website for a yearly fee.
Networking Opportunities
Our networking opportunities include Business After Hours, Annual Awards Dinner, and Member Breakfasts. Business After Hours, our most frequent events, are when businesses sign up to do an event at their space, which includes catering, beverages, and door prizes supplied by the chamber. We help with all the planning and invite our members to join us through Facebook, email, and hard-copy flyers in the mail. These events are great for networking with other business owners, and they help to further connect our business community in the area, along with promoting the business where the event is taking place!
Educational Programs
Leadership Hancock County is our leadership program we offer once a year. This program is great for businesses that are looking to promote employees into management or leadership positions. This program is also a great way to make connections with future leaders of our community. Essentially, these become generational connections that will further our business community. Leadership Hancock County teaches you how to lead and furthers your connections in the community.
Marketing Opportunities
Maine’s Best Regional Guide is the ad book we create every year. Members receive discounts on ads in this book, while non-members pay full price. This book is a fantastic tool for tourists, locals, and other chambers in Maine, as it has a plethora of information on businesses and communities in our region. Audience
When you join the chamber, you are granted access to our audience. We can provide email lists, mailing lists, and call lists for you to get information out quickly. Our audience also frequently checks our website, where you can post events, and once your event is posted, we will also put it in our E-News, which goes out to every one of our members! Our audience is one of the biggest reasons we are a valuable tool for businesses.
