Forest Ridge Campground

Forest Ridge is a 60 site campground located in Ellsworth, Maine.  We are 1 mile from downtown Ellsworth, 19 miles East of Bucksport, 15 miles North of Acadia National Park, 18 miles from Bar Harbor and 25 miles from Bangor.  We are centrally located in the heart of Downeast Maine,  with easy access to Blue Hill, Castine, Deer Isle, Stonington, Lubec, Eastport, Schoodic Point, and Campobello Island.

These towns offer you an array of tourist attractions, such as, fine dining, boat excursions, antique shops and lots of sightseeing. The majority of our sites are drive-through sites with 50 amp electric, water, sewer and Cable TV.

We have an on-sight laundry room, FREE showers, a public dump station, telephone with FREE Calls to anywhere in the U.S. and Canada, FREE Wi-Fi, EXCELLENT Cellular reception  (US Cellular, Verizon and AT&T).

We offer two on-site campers that are available to rent by the weekend, week, month or season. Our store carries some (Basic) RV Supplies and Maine novelties.  We also offer firewood for those nightly campfires, ice, and snacks. Whatever your destination, you're certain to find your stay at Forest Ridge relaxing and enjoyable.

We welcome travelers, vacationers, tenters, bikers, seasonal campers, large groups, caravans and rallies, or those just passing through to Acadia National Park.  Our motto is "Large Sites and Quiet Nights"

We are not a partying campground.  We are pet and tenting friendly, (sorry, no long term tenting.  Limit of 7 nights). Open May 1st through Mid October.  We also offer many discounts (Military, Good Sam, AAA).

We are also a Passport America campground with NO PEAK MONTH RESTRICTIONS.
